Car show tomorrow/Hatchback open, will lights eventually go out?
I am going to a car show tomorrow and I made a new display with my cars stats on it that I plan on putting in the cargo area with the hatchback open. Will the interior lights eventually go out, or is there an easy bypass to turn those out. I don't want those lights on all day.
As they said they will go out but everytime you open a hatch or hood or doors they will come back on. I usually first crack the hood and hatch first when I'm cleaning up at a show to avoid that.
An add on question,,,Does the same thing apply to the under hood light?? Bought car in Jan. and light was out.Replaces it when I was prepping for a trip.Club has a display coming up.reading this thread I'm guessing yes,but would like to know for sure.

Yes, in fact, ANY current draw will "automagically" shut off after 15 minutes (unless the ignition is on) to save battery life....Same if you leave a door open....
