Default Build Sheet

I am a new member to CF, just purchased my first corvette on Fathers Day, and was wondering how to go about getting a build sheet of info on my 98 vette. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. I know that you need a vin #, so here it is 1G1YY22GXW5126100

Thanks

it's in your front bumper rail. you gotta pull your front fascia, though.

You might find the one in the bumper is a tad grubby

You can order new copies of your build sheet from NCM

https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp

I'll treat myself one of these days.

Default What are you looking for?

If you're looking for a listing of the options on your car, they can be found on the glove compartment door.

I have my original window sticker and I pulled the original build sheet when I put my tighershark nose on. I've been meaning to get them both framed to hang in my garage.

Do the letters you found on the storage lid mean the same for all c5s? I am looking at both a 2001 and a 2002 tomorrow and want to be able to decode the options in case the owners don't know all of them... hoping for a hidden z51 upgrade

If not the same, can someone point me to a place with what they stand for on an 01 and 02?

just look under your hood for a power steering cooler. that will verify if you have a z51.

Kudos to Gene and the others here that do this for the Forum members. However, the information they provide is the Build Information from the GM Vehicle Inquiry System (VIS). While GM VIS contains a lot of the same information, it is not the same as the actual Factory Build Sheet and should not be confused with such.

As others mentioned above, copies of your car's Factory Build Sheet can be ordered from the NCM. Following is a pic of a Factory Build Sheet:
