Last nite I started my car up.. no interior lights came on, & no tailights. It did the same thing last week, interior lights went out a few times, then they came back on. I went out this morning.. it's dead - nothing will come on, no lights, NOTHING. Any ideas? Alternator?

Check the battery first, make sure everything is connected, nothing loose etc.. also when you turn the key, look at the Volts gauge, or the DIC display and see how many volts are showing.
I always start with the simple stuff and go from there. Good luck I am sure others with chime in.
It could be Car battery connection due to intermittent ( now you see now you don't).
Check battery connection make sure they clean and tight connected.
Hope this help.
The first thing I would do is to check the battery connections. Then take the battery to get it charged (if you don't have a battery charger) and load-tested. If the battery checks out okay, put it back in the car and see if there are any charge system codes, what the running voltage is, etc. Or, just have a mechanic check the charging system.
Unless your battery is over 5 years old, you shouldn't automatically assume it is bad and replace it. You could be wasting your money. If the battery checks out okay (after being fully charged), look elsewhere for the problem.
