I have seen some that I hate, and some that I really like.
My point of view is that I would rather see someone do what they want with their own vehicle, and be happy with it, Rather than do what everyone else wants you to do, and not be happy.
Either way some will hate it and some will love it, its all just someone elses opinion, and your own is the only one that matters.
You are the owner, do what you wish and everyone else can pound sand...............you were put on this earth to work to please yourself and those you love,......eveyone else is irrelevant.

I like what "I" like, you like what you like, just don't expect me to give a rats **** about what you like.

Not wild about a bunch of stickers on a car I own, but what others do is up to them. If sponsors are paying for some of the expenses, then by all means the stickers should be there.
Street cars - NO STICKERS THAT USE FONTS PERIOD or LOGOS. Certain types of stripes (or like the flag motif shown in an earlier post) can look good if that is your thing. Windshield stickers are really low class.
Race cars - these are just rolling billboards, who cares? Most of the time the bodies are fake replicas which have nothing to do with what is underneath anyway.
Show Cars - no way.
Stickers have always been a poor man's attempt at standing out from the crowd and go well with J.C. Whitney curb feelers. The reason they look cheap is because they ARE cheap. You don't "generally" see European exotics driving around with stickers (unless purchased by the nouveau-rich), but you do see an increasing number of Corvettes falling prey to this practice.
I saw a new black Viper driving around today - absolutely beautiful car - as it got closer, all you could see was the big word VIPER plastered across the top of the windshield in white - you could only think one thing - somebody just came into some money for the first time in their life (more money than taste) and they were afraid that someone may either not notice them or that people may think they are driving a VW and just want to make sure everybody knows they are driving something expensive. If you need to advertise what you are driving, maybe you should buy something with more style to begin with?
Others have said it and I agree... Sticker on race cars =
Street cars... Not so much.
I'm in the crowd of, if you want to give me that supercharger and a few stickers with your name on it, I'll place them where you'll see them... however, I'd need to actually drive the dang car more than a couple times a YEAR in order for someone other than the neighbors to see it!!
