Gas tank Low????
Anyone seem to have 4-5 gallons left once the car is on about drop dead empty...Seems like maybe a racing feature or something?? Ive driven semi long distances on empty and still only filled about 15 Gal into an 18 gal tank??????

Very common problem with the fuel sending unit. Try running a bottle of Techron through with your next tank of gas.

I already have sent a few bottles through since I bought it... Maybe its gotten better, I dont know. It works for me tho as long as it wont serve any major issues in the future....

Can't say I ever had 4-5 gallons left once the gauge read empty. Might want to try the Techron treatment.

Do the DIC warnings operate normally? Theres a fuel Low" caption that comes on when the needle gets close to "E". On mine that triggers at about 60 miles remaining. With Range selected you'll get "Range Low" caption at 30 miles. Are these captions coming on?
Mind you, the guys could be spot on and its the fuel sender thats toast. I've seen a few variations on gauge errors with a fouled up sender posted here over the years.
