[Z06] Taking a Z for a test drive

Ok... reviving this post...
They finally got the transmission back in shape and I took the car for a drive today...
WOW... what a difference! Feels like a new tranny. It ended up running about $2000 in parts/labor ( what they paid... got a price break from the dealer they use ).
In the end, I asked how much more they were willing to drop ( from $24,900 ) and he said "24,500 is the lowest I think we can go"
I told him I'd think about it, and get back to him in a few days....
As I was getting ready to drive off the lot, he walked up to the car and said "the manager asked what price I quoted you, and after telling him, he said to tell you $23,500 and the car is yours..."
Said I'd think about it, check into a few things and get back to him...
VERY close to what I wasa going to offer them back in August....

Well.... I tried to get them to bring the $$ down a bit more, and no dice. SO... I can live with the 23,500 and for what I want with the car, it's a great buy ( IMO 
).
If all goes well, I should be bringing the car home on Wednesday or so. I'll post pics and such in a new thread afterwards...

Dropped to 26,400 in August... offered it to me @ 25,999 at that time...
they since dropped it to 24,988... and it bottomed out where we sit today... I'll be mush happier when it's sitting in the driveway...
