reverse lights not working, any ideas??

You didn't list auto or manual. Your profile says 94 C4. Either you're in the wrong forum, or your profile is not up to date. If you have a C5 manual transmission, put that info on here and I'll post a picture of the b/u light switch from the service manual.

its a c5z, i fixed it, just realized it must be the trans switch, i put fuse#2 back in hit alarm and reverse lights work, so that rules out #38 relay so must be the switch, im supprised it's bad, my car only has 1300 miles on it..

You can tell for sure by unplugging the connector at the tranny, turn on the ignition switch and short the two connector pins in the wire end of the connector. If the lights work, the switch is bad. If not, there's another fuse that feeds the voltage to the b/u lights, fuse #21 in the passenger foot well. I'd check the fuse first, it's not labeled b/u lamps, I don't recall right now how it's labeled, but it's #21. The approach lights are fused through fuse #2 .
