Default Hello all.

Sup all. New Vette owner here. 2003 Coupe. 50th Anv edition, grey. I've been spending the last two days reading old posts so I dont ask any dumb questions. I'm sure i'll have lots of them anyway. Seems like a very helpfull forum community you have here. Anyway, back to looking at old posts.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on the new Vette

Don't worry ask away. We all asked dumb questions when we were new here. Its pretty rare for someone to ask a question that no one has an answer for.

Yep! You will find lots of good info here! Since you are new to Corvettes, you may want to download a PDF version of your owner's manual. Depending on what you are looking for, it can be a lot quicker than paging through your paper manual. You can get it here, but I don't seem to have the link right at the moment. You should be able to do a search for it.

Anyway, welcome to the forums and congrats on a great car!

Welcome to the Forum!

Not busting ***** here, and I could be wrong, but don't the 50th Anni Vettes have their own color Red? If yours is Grey, it's not a 50th Anni, per-se. The 03's have the special badges, where they're outlined in silver, as opposed to standard black, since the year is the 50 year mark for Vettes. I don't remember what years Pewter and Medium Spiral Grey were made, but odds are you've got one of them, both beautiful!Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Either way, enjoy the addiction and welcome! Lots of great advice here that will save your wallet and your sanity!

Yep, it's just semantics, but you have a 50th anniversary model car. The 50th anniversary edition is only in anniversary red with shale interior. It has nothing to do with the enjoyment of the car. Welcome and I don't think you'll be disappointed that you got the 2003 Vette. They're a blast and attract attention everywhere you go. Some good, some bad. Ask any questions you like, there are thousands here who will answer. Not always correctly, but always an answer.

Congrats and welcome. I had a hard time deciding between the Spiral Gray and Electron Blue when I ordered my 2003. Even made a few trips to Bowling Green to see them in person before ordering. My wife wants to pick up a Spiral Gray convertible for her now. Love the color.

Show us some pics and more info on your Vette when you get a chance.

Thanks and I'll get pics asap. Its bone stock so nothing special yet. Need a few paydays under the belt for all the extras. I can't believe the amount of information I've learned in such a short time from these forums. Thanks again for the warm welcome. Also thanks for the clear up on the 50th annv issue. I'm sure it was just the salesman playing word games, but I'm happy as hell and would have bought it anyway.
