Default tire perssure sensor

I have a problem with a tire pressure sensor. The tire is full and the sensor reads a desending pressure. It starts out at the proper number and over a period of time the reading desends lower and lower to nothing. The tire is still full mind you. Now the kicker, the tire gauge also reads the desending pressure, even though the tire is full. I've let out all the air several times and pumped it up to the proper pressure. The gauge on the compressor reads the proper pressure the tire gauge reads the proper pressure, and the dash readout reads the proper pressure. After a period of time the readout reads lower and lower, the tire gauge reads lower and lower, but when I go to inflate the tire, the pressure gauge on the compressor reads the correct pressure. So the tire is full, but the trie gauge and the digital readout say the tire is flat. I've tried several different tire gauges, all with the same result. I'm I going nuts or what? Please advise.

This mystery bears a "out of Body" experience-ha, ha. I would have said a easy answer like a leaking valve stem but there is no leak per the the gauge. Is the gauge correct at the compressor.

I replaced the valve and the problem seems solved. Thanks for the help.

It also sounds like the pressure gauge on your compressor isn't really showing you the tire pressure
