Default Fender stripes ( DIY )

Decided to call a screen shop and see what kind of vinyl they carried . Ended up going with a carbon fiber . Went by a local body shop and got some Grey pinstripe and tried doing my own stripes . I spent a total amount of $6.38 and looks pretty good . Thought I would share some photo's . Enjoy

I'm shocked nobody noticed, but the stripes are too skinny and the gap is too wide.

i was not aware that there was a law saying they had to be certain size. its not like he's trying to do a 100 point restoration.i know mine aren't the exact size.

I noticed them and then thought, they aren't factory so there really isn't any reason for them to look like anyone elses. They look different from others on here but that's not a bad thing.

I think they look great. Real Good job. I like how they offset the white. I have a black 01 coupe, just put black wheels on it and was thinking of doing some stripe's like this but just dont know what color would be good to offset a "murdered out" vette.Something different but looks good? anyway not trying to take over the thread just saying BADa** ,

I think those carbon fibers look great on a white vette. As far as a black with black wheels, I knew someone who had one and it was the sharpest looking vette I've seen. I know going away from chrome wheels gives it that look but I'd like to see some silver stripes to give it a pop that's different. I have a feeling that would look good.

i thought the whole point was to tell your car apart from others by making the stripes different. when you do custom work yourself there won't be an exact copy anywhere.

looks

Well at $6.38 it wont break the bank if total accuracy is a problem

I think it looks great. The CF gives a touch of originality. Great job

I don't get the deal with the stripes. I guess if you like them, that's all that matters....

Still playing around with them, made the stripes a little wider and the gap smaller. Do you guys think I need to make the stripes any wider ? Or does the bigger of the 2 stripes go towards the back or front of the car. Can one of you measure your stripes and give me the dimensions
of them. Any input is very much appreciated
