Voltage question?
The gage in the car showed 11.2 after disconnecting the cables looking for corrosion or a bad ground (all clean) it started charging again but real week no higher than 12.5 on the gage/DIC so I think the alternator is bad I get a brand new chrome one put it on start it up 12.6-12.8 on the gage the battery is brand new all grounds points are clean. The new alternator is pumping out 13.8 at the post (car has big cam and underdrive pully) shows 13.6 at the battery cables
But the DIC and the gage still read 12.2-12.6 anyone know what the problem is?
