Default Trim Levels

How can I tell different trim levels in a C5 ? Or are there any ?
I am looking a purchasing an 04.
To use an F350 truck as an example Base trim is an XL as you go up its XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, etc.

I would guess, Coupe, convertible, Z06 for the Vette. Is this correct and/or are there others.

What I am looking at says it has 1SB preferred equipment group.

Look on the inside of the glove box of the car and you'll find the build codes. Down a couple posts in the thread below you'll find what each one stands for.

The '04 you could get a 1SA, 1SB, or 1SC as a trim level. The coupe, convertible, Z06 is a body style. The 1SC was only for the Commemorative Editions, which were all Le Mans Blue. So if its not Le Mans Blue then it is a 1SA or 1SB. Here is a link for more info.

Their not really trim "levels". There are the three options you mentioned; coupe, vert, Z06. Then there are a variety of options you can get. There is a website called "CorvetteMuseum" that I found very helpful when I bought by 2001 last year. It provides a ton of information for each model year. Here's a link to the 2001 specs..... Plenty of great information that will help you make a choice on which car to buy since there are tons out there.
