GHL at Carlisle???
East Coast Superchargers had a show special on them, but none there and no installs. That wasn't real obvious at their booth, but luckily I read about it here. God bless Corvette Forum! They have then drop shipped to your home. They also only had one sound off car there, which was highly modified, so not a good indication of what they'll sound like on a stock car. I did order a set however. I waited what seemed like forever for Carlisle, now I have to wait some more. Installing myself is no problem, although it would have been nice to sit by and watch somebody else do the work for a change, ha, ha.
Oh well, I HOPE I'll end up reinforcing TWO old adages..."Good things are worth waiting for", and "If you want it done right, do it yourself." I do think GHL should get on the bandwagon and get better represented at Carlisle though.
I listened to Borla Stingers, which seemed too quiet, B&B Bullets, which sounded good, but I've heard have bad drone like the Stingers. I'm counting on all the good things I've read here about the GHL Bullets. I hope you guys don't let me down!
One comment of yours concerns me though. I've never thought the borlas were too quiet, I just don't care for them.
I always say to hear what ever you want in person.
Let us know how you like them when you get them.
I was back at Carlisle again today, and now I'm wondering if I made the right decision. I was checking out the cutouts in QTP's booth. They had a C-5 there with stock exhaust and cutouts. It was the best of both worlds, super quiet to really muscular. That would be some custom work though. If I did it, I'd set the cutout in a bridge between the inlet pipe and the inner tailpipe, so the exhaust dumped out the rear rather than underneath, similar to the A&A mod.

Sorry(I forgot to tell you who he is)---his name is Mr.WaynesWorld and he should be parked with the Corvette Club of America in row G. Its a mag red vert..

Your pics reminded me of something else I like about the GHL's, the way the pipe smoothly merges into the two tips. A lot of the systems have the outer tips all but 90'd off the pipe going to the inner tip. Watching them, you can clearly see that most of the exhaust is coming out of the two inner tips and hardly any coming out of the two outer tips.
