I have one, its the black one with the plexiglass. I've only used it once, but I've only had the car for a week. I haven't had the top down without it. It seems to work well, but it also seems to move around in the mounts a bit. If the seatback hits it it looks like it will rub on the deck lid a little.
I've had the lower profile plexiglass model from Vette Net for sometime. Dissappointed...my wife requires it with the top down, however you need to roll the windows up approx 3-4 inches for any affect and all the way up for optimum performance. It does look good though.
Exactly...I've been wondering if a rear spoiler or hatch vent would make things better when used with the Vette Net. Could be just enough to push the turbulence away.
I have one and love it. I have the screen version. The wife and I take trips up the coast and use it whenever the tops down. You can use it when its hot or cold outside and use the air conditioning or heater and it works great with the top off. Just roll the windows up for the full effect with very little turbulance. Doesnt mess the wife's hair up.... I prefer the screen/net version. Its a little higher than the plexiglass and works better for taller people (I think). Plus its alot cheaper. Get bag to store it in. Doesnt wiggle in the mounts. Heres a few shots with it on....I like the looks of it........
The Divert-a-breeze looks like a good deal, wish I could find it in a color other than black! The price is right, but does it really compare to the Vette-net?
I have a large Vet Net (old style)
Works OK with side windows up on interstates.
Extends the times you'll go topless in spring and late fall.
Then again I've only used it a dozen times. Wify demands it.
When I'm alone I don't bother.
I raised mine a different way. I had an older screen VetteNet, I upgraded to the new style. One thing I noticed was that the new version was much lower than the old version. I bought some 3/4" conduit and cut it to 2". I then drilled some small holes in the conduit for set screws, then painted them black. They fit perfectly over the legs of the VetteNet, then just tightened the set screws. There was a slight vibration, I used an small elastic cord to hold tight, no more noise. It may look a little weird in the photo, but when the seats are back, you cannot see any of it. Works for me!!
This is the old style mesh version, you can see it is quite a bit taller.

I love your car. Great pictures> I just bought a 2006 convertible yesterday in Scottsdale,Az the same color as yours with 30,000Miles. I already recognize the need of a wind restrictor and like what you say about yours. What is manufacturer name and how much $. where can I order one like yours?
Thanks, Bill in Scottsdale,Az
For anyone interested, I could not find something I LOVED for the price, so I order this on Amazon and I'm really happy with the way it cuts down on the wind and doesn't require a permanent install or cutting my carpet. Do the straps around the seat look great, nah. But for the price, I can easily remove it whenever I want!
