Default Those using 275 front tires - step inside

I installed my BFG KDW 2s last night and I was caught off guard that they bulge from the front wheel wells like they do. When looking from the rear it actually looks pretty good. when standing on the front clip it looks like much more. Not huge but easily at least 1/2" outside.

I have a feeling its just the angle and the fact that the front of our cars slope in as the front clip moves to the ground that makes it look worse then it is. Also the rim guard on the these tires add an extra 1/4".

Any of the rest of you guys see this and are there any solutions? I was thinking adding a little negative camber but I don't want to chew the tires too much. I also think even though I notice this now I won't in a few weeks

I have no issues and mine do not stick out, just fill the wheel wheel of my lowered Vette nicely

I'm running Michelin PS2's, and they fit and look perfect. I guess it depends on what wheels you're running - you didn't say.

I have 275 Michelin PS2's on 9 1/2 X18 wheels and it did bother me that edge of the tire tread sticks out about 3/8" when viewed directly from the top. My 315' are about the same in the rear. After a while you get used to it. In time I would like to replace both front and rear with fenders that have a slight flare.

I mentioned BFG KDW 2s above but my rim is 18x10. For you guys that it fits perfectly are running a smaller rim? That must make all the difference. With the CCWs if you go less then 10 inch you get a 1" lip. I did not want 1" lip in the front and 3" in the rear. I am sure I will get used to it.

I'm running 275's (Mich. Pilot Sports) on an 18x10 CCW and it fits perfectly. It isn't outside the fender line at all. My 335 rears sit slightly outside the fender line on the 18x11.5 CCW but the fronts sit flush.

Even the rim guard?? Wow and I even heard that the Mich PSs are a little "wider" then other tires. Any pics from the front angle you could share? Any chance you have a lot of neg camber on your last alignment? I need to check my data sheet when I get home. Maybe the guy gave me 0 when I need -.07 according to CF.

Anyone with pics from the front corner? If I hold a 2x4 up to my tire I am 3/8" out on both sides.

I'm running BFG KDW 2s on 275s up front and they sit pretty much flush with the fender.
