I always ignore the BSM threads till this weekend when i was clay barring my vert ... took me 3 days. while i was doing this i kept thinking to myself....self, i bet this would look really good without these silly trim pieces on.
So this is where i thought i would start the one millionth BSM thread and ask you guys what you thought.
Hmm i wonder if i get a prize for the 1,000,000 BSM thread
It's a personal preferance. I happen to think the car looks cleaner with out BSM's. But hey, that's me . I will say that they would come in handy in a tight parking lot .
I think if you're parking near other cars, such as work grocery stores, etc., you would want to have them. I bought my C/5 knowing it was'nt going to be a daily driver. My request when I ordered my car, was no mod red interior(MY) is my exterior, and no bsm. I don't consider them gaudy or any thing like that. I just prefered not having that look. Thats what makes the world go round. Different strokes for different folks. Good luck with your decission.
now i am trying to figure if i have them on, since i am the second owner of the verte i never really even looked, but as for me i like them off, they make the vette more smoother, but i agree if they protect the vette from being hitten by a door or some other object, then they are better being on, look good both ways

Just soaked in looking at jdmvette's beautiful car....when you see a car with BSM's, that's what you notice(the BSM's). Without them, you see the lines of the car.
