nice! way to set off the cheap *** neighbor's alarm! Those flanges look pretty thick too. That "drive shaft protector" is actually a tunnel reinforcement plate. it reduces the torsional flex in the suspension and also helps with heat reduction from the exhaust.
Oh ok thats the part I had to cut a piece out off so that the o2 censors
will go up far enough so that the header can bolt on properly! Other than that the installation went pretty smooth. And also If anyone is interested in these just remember it takes patience when installing these!

I meant to add, most installs that i've seen have to cut a hole out in the plate. Didn't mean to just learn you on what it was lol.
Well I was expecting around 385 to the wheels and only came up with 381hp and 382 tourq. Not bad considering my base run was 345hp and 354 tourq! But Rick at Synergy made it happen. When I got their he discovered my 02 censors were dead so I ended up buying some from them so we can go on with the tune. My Z was also running very lean prior to the tune. Rick mentioned that I'm lucky nothing happened to my motor. So after everything I gained 36 hp and 28 tourq to the wheels.

It's too bad all the pictures of the welds are blurry...that's what I would be basing my assessment of quality on. Sounds like a nice performance gain. And glad to hear you didn't hurt your car.

I'll take better pics of the welds so you can get to see them better.
