Exhaust Leak
So recently I have been smelling what appears to be exhaust fumes when I hit the fresh air button on my a/c. I took it to a local shop and they told me that it appears that I have an exhaust leak coming off one of my headers on the right side where it comes off of the block. They told me that because they are aftermarket headers the factory GM gaskets are not thick enough and can warp over time due to heat. He told me that he would put these "Felpro" gaskets on their for $400. Does this seem like an absurd amount of money to you all or does it seem like a fair price to put new gaskets on the car.

www.summitracing.com they have the gaskets for under $30 bucks pn #mrg-5964. in a nut shell: just let the engine cool, take out the manifold bolts, remove and replace the gaskets and rebolt the manifolds. worth a try, and if you fail your only out 30 dollars instead of 400
