C5 Exhaust upgrade ???????
I need some help from you fellow forumers with exhaust upgrades.
My dad is looking to upgrade his 98 C5 exhaust system. Here is a list of his "preferences:"
So, what would be the recommendation?

It can vary on engine mods too. If he has headers or ever plans to, then he may not want something that is loud whie stock. if he plans to stay stock, then Cosrsa touring is louder than stock but fairly tame except for WOT. With Headers and hi flow cats, mine has a decent rumble at idle and gets pretty loud at WOT, but is more of a higher pitch than other exhausts. I'm starting to think about trying the Z06 exhaust and if not loud enough, then doing the bypass mod.

The B&B bullets is what he might be looking for. I have Corsa Pacecar on my car and really like it but it's more of a higher pitch/exotic sounding exhaust rather then the deep rumble he might be after.

You might look at www.ls1sounds.com There are soem sound clips of different exhausts there. Also you can search youtube for vids of corvettes.

To me, the corsa isn't obnoxious at all. Even with headers. I would either get the stingers or the nxt step catback as they sound almost identical to each other. They are loud, yet don't really drone. Add headers and they scream. My nxt step pops a lot more than others stingers for some reason though. B&B's and straight pipes will drone pretty bad.

Without headers and x I would recommend B&B Bullets or Borla Stingers...quite loud at WOT but not obnoxiously annoying...with headers and x tho that would be a completely different story!
