Default Introduction 1999 Hardtop

waited a long time for this forum post...

Just bought a 1999 Hardtop. White with black leather interior. Manual of course. I'm sure you guys know more about the car than I do... please take it easy on me, and offer any advice.

Bought her from a co-worker. Never had a blower or gas. Stock engine and intake. One day time attack on track last weekend, passed pre and post inspection. No leaks. Have every confidence in the car and friend.

***I understand that selling a car to, or loaning money to, is the best way to lose a friend. Best I can tell the car is all of it.***

Pulled 322 rwhp on the dyno last weekend before the run. Once we agreed on price the car has been off the road under a cover. One time attack track day, skilled driver.

1999 with 53k miles. stock engine/intake/trans/exhaust. no wrecks and non smoker. updated to Z06 sway bars and shocks.

she's in great shape, and a rocket.

best,
PJ

Looks great. I even like the wagon wheels on a white vette.

322 to the wheels is a lot for a stock ls1, isn't it? Regardless, very nice ride! Gotta love the FRC's. I've had mine a few months now, and I'm loving it!

Sounds like you made a very nice purchase. I am kind of partial to '99 FRCs. A little tip, all FRCs have black interiors and six speeds. When you get ready to mod, start with a cold air intake, headers, cat-back, intake/throttle body, heads, and cam.... it's a virus that will run a full course before you know it...
