Well GMPP did it to me this year. I tell everyone the price increase is coming on October 1st, well this year it is September 1st. I know of about 250 customers who in talking to them wanted to wait until September to do this, well in order to not have a price increase we must get this done by Monday. I have not had time to study the price increase yet but if you do not want GM to have your money email me at dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com or gmpp@fichtnerchevrolet.com or I may be reached at 406-628-4618, Ext 105 and we can get this done by Monday.

This is very critical news for those of you wishing to extend 2001 & 2002 models, you must get this done by Monday.
Just as a reminder again, You can extend your original GMPP if you have 2 months and 2000 miles left and they only go back 7 model years so if you have a 2001 and want to extend you must do so by Monday and it is a holiday so you have until 8-30 only.
sounds like a waste of money for a claim denial service to me..
I had GMPP 7 yr 100k on my 2001, never had claim denial, had every known C5 problem fixed - never added it up but I am sure I had 20k to 30k in claims paid (all legitimate problems)
But of course I had a cooperating dealer who never gave me a hard time, either.
