You can look on the Texas Mile Site, and you can see what stock and not so stock cars run in the standing mile. I have a spreadsheet which calculates areo drag, etc... and tell you what a car should run, and how long it takes. A stock Z06 should take just over 9000 feet to go from 0 to top speed (about 2 miles). A bone stock Z06 should run between 171 and 178 mph. In the mile at Goliad its around 155ish.

186 mph on the A60 Autobahn in Germany! God I miss it! 160mph plus at least once a week for three years!

How many runs do you get to make at an event like that?
I did the maxton mile last year and with a small blip in the throttle to keep it under 160... i ran 159.2 I think she could have done 162-3 on a better launch.... :-) hear is a video of the run... I was not stock ... I was at about 400RWHP
