Default My First Performance mod.......WOW!!

Hi Everyone, a few weeks ago I purchased a halltech Cai from fellow member Oneshot. I just installed it today and all I can say is wow! I didnt think I would notice that much of a difference just from a cai The First thing I noticed was the idle was much smoother than before when I started her up. I want to say thank you to Oneshot and also to fellow member Dave68. He doesnt know it but I used his Install Instructions from his web page

I cant begin to imagine what headers, small cam, and a tune would feel like Btw my vehicle was a bone stock 03 Z

Now put on the Halltech tunnel port !!!

Cold air will feed right up your license plate housing into the CAI !

Let the modding begin !!!!

Ohhhh! Yeahhhh! and just wait till you really make it breathe with a SuperCharger

Then you'll really notice a strong throttle response , it all starts with the CAI!

Thanks,Matt

Thanks, Tunedprt91 and C5vette168! Staying bone stock when you frequent THIS forum is a tough thing to do.

Mod on!

Here's what I got on the way:

Comp Cam
FAST Intake (stock TB for now)

Near future (waiting for pay days):

Heads to support cam
Halltech Stinger or Varaam (not sure which one is better)
LG Pro/Street Headers and X Pipe, to Borla Stingers

Not sure what else..

It's all downhill from here. When I bought my car 8 1/2 years ago I promised my wife that I was going to leave it bone stock. That lasted a few months until I added an air intake. The rest is history. Congratulations! You're now officially hooked

The difference with the CAI is it in the lower power band or towards the higher end of the rev range?

Nice! With those mods, I'd assume you do not live in CA! I may have to get supercharged one of these days (when the kids are out of college), but hey, it's legal here in CA!
