Default Should I change???

I have had original SW C5R headlights with 6k HIDs on my car since last 3.5 years. I get nothing but compliments overall on the ride. When asked what is the one thing that they would change on my car, my bestest buddy said they would change back to pop ups. Of course they will have the ACA HIDs in them too.

Should I do it or not?

I think it looks great as-is.....however, if you really want a change, perhaps you could first try just painting the inside red on the ones you have now?? Nice RIDE

I think I agree with your friend. Even though the lights you have have grown on me... I still like the pop-ups more.

In the same position myself. I have black painted C5R lights with HIDs on my millenium yellow. I would keep them to be honest. On your car they perfectly match the black wheels (which look awesome by the way). Are they C14s?

I'd do it in 2 steps:

1. Paint the tops of them red to match your car's paint.

2. If you don't like that go back to stock covers.

3. Buy a new spoiler or spray it with stoner's tire shine

Sweet Car!

This is my opinion...

How do YOU feel about the lights? Because that is all that matters. I've seen some pretty tacky modded vettes, but if that is what the owner likes... And no, I'm not saying yours is tacky, I think it looks good...which is irrelevant, because it's only your opinion that is relevant.

1st. Let me say I LOVE your car. You obviously have an itch though.. How to scratch it or maybe wait for it to go away Have you considered the painting to match as mentioned by xlr8nflorida?! I really think thats a good look. With your subtle hawtness I think that would drive us fans even more wild!

If not and you do the pop up.... Jason's right. His Aca's are gorgeous as well... We anxiously await your direction

You're car is one of the sickest on CF bhai!

If you decide to change, lemme know, I've been thinking about going the non-pop look. If you decide to go back --- you know you can get them back from me.. I'd be a good foster parent to them!

After all the effort that went into changing them - I'd keep what you have Noumie! The pop ups are a PITA - right now I have a bad switch and the doors open only about 50% of the time - why would you want to go back to that?

don't get me wrong - I love the way stock C5's look (mine's stock!) - but if I had already changed them out like you have, no way I'd go back!
