Just installed StopTech ST-60s up front and ST-40s in rear with 18" C140s all the way around. The install was relatively straight forward except for having to grind the lip on the lower A-arms to accommodate the larger AeroRotors. So far so good-
Here's a couple of pics of the old (Wilwood D/S rotors with stock Z06 calipers) for comparison purposes:
Let me know when you want to deal on the OEM painted wheels with no tires.
Chad
Thanks Chad.
I will send you a PM, I need to decide if the 18" OEMs will work as a suitable set of back-up wheels - I need to see how much of a spacer the OEM rears will need to fit on the fronts with the new calipers. It's likely that the OEM rears on the front with spacers will not be ideal - I'll let you know.
Those look sick, absolutely MASSIVE. How do you like them so far?
Big brake kit is next on my list.
Thanks. So far so good, the more I drive the more I like them. I did one bed-in cycle and have about 250 easy miles on them so far. The peddle is more firm (that could be due to the stainless steel lines) and the pulsing feeling I use to get from the Willwoods is gone, the StopTechs are smooth and quiet.
I went with the more expensive BBK since I track my car a few times a year. I really wrestled with paying more than twice as much for the StopTechs versus the C6Z06 brakes. I decided to go for a set-up that will work better on the track and sacraficed a little bling.
I really appreciate all the positive comments, thank you all.

So far the brake dust appears to be less than the stockers. However, they came with Street Performance pads (Hawk Performance Ceramic in front and Axxis Ultra High Performance Ceramic in the rear) and I've only done one bed-in cycle so far and some easy driving.
I did get a chance to make a little blast run this evening (on my long curved driveway that includes a sharp 90degree turn) that I've done hundreds of times with my old set-up. I heel-toed from 90mph in 4th to 3rd to 2nd and took the turn at about 10mph and the brakes felt better than the stockers even with the new ceramic pads and not at full capacity (they could probably use another bed-in cycle or two).
I can't wait to get race pads and get out on the track. My old set-up would start to go away on me after a couple of hard laps - that will be the real test
Where did you get your wheels? I had the Z6 Z06 brakes on my last '02 Z and found them to work just fine at Road Atlanta for a slow track day with NASA. Did you get them directly from CCW with the correct offset? Can you post your offset numbers and rim widths? thank you, Jim
I wouldn't run those pads at an HPDE... if they're indeed ceramic street pads they'll fade in a hurry as they're not intended for hard use, only for adequate street stopping and low dust.
I installed the same brake kit on my buddy Jay's 3000GT, awesome setup. Love the wheels too, haven't seen a set in full polish like that yet, only painted silver or black.

I got them directly from CCW. I told John at CCW that I wanted to put big brakes on and that I track my car, he recommended the C140s (I was looking at a couple of other styles also) and took care of the offset. If you notice there is no lip on the front or back and there is almost an inch clearance between the spokes and the calipers. I don't know the actual offset, I'm sure John can tell you, the rims are 18x10 up front and 18x11 in back.

Great looking set up. John also set me up with wheels for RR. With some good track pads and Dot 4 fluid (imp) you will be all set. Lots of good choices for StopTech.
