I had the Halltech TRIC with Titanium and Carbon Fiber setup, as you can see in my pic. It looks good, but for me - wasn't cuttin' it. So I sold it ... now run a cut lid, and pretty much get the same affect. Everyone will give you their own opinion, but I might do a cheaper - breathless setup, sometime in the spring.

I ran a TRIC on my 02 for a few months with no problems but recently switched to the Sidewinder. I didn't want to take a chance on water ingestion.

I'm running the Tric bottom breather on mine, my daily driver. My only mod, it produced +10 rwhp and +15 rwtq in before- and after- dynos.

I stay out of deep pooled water but have driven hundreds of miles through torrential rains without incident. So I see the risk of water ingestion as very small and acceptable. That's, of course, up to each owner.

Why they I here the side winder is good if you live in a rainy area, and the T1 is a bottom feeder, which would not good in a flood.

I've had mine for a year and out 12,000 miles on it. Not one problem, it looks great, it sounds great, and had to give me at least 25 fly wheel hp. As for the water/rain issue, who drives their Vette in the rain? Not me, I have a beater for that!
