I'm back!!!

I'm certain no one remembers me but I lurk on here quite a bit for the latest and greatest information. I had a 98 coupe that I sold a while ago and got back into f-bodies (have a TT 99 formula now).
I wasn't really looking for another car, but it found me (those are the best kind). A '97 manual coupe with light rod knock. Black sport seats, climate control. It was sitting for 9 months, so it was a little rough. I washed & claybarred it today and it cleaned up REAL nice, I'm quite pleased!! I didn't get a chance to clean the interior or take 'after' shots, as the sun went down before I was ready

First on the list tomorrow is removing the canards on the front (lol). Another wash and then a whole lot of wax. There are a couple small interior pieces to replace and some other minor things to attend to, but I'm really excited. After I get my formula ready for fall's race season, I'll dig in on the vette. I plan to drop the drivetrain from the bottom and go over everything with a fine tooth comb. Who knows what I'll find in the bottom end, or what I'll replace it with...
On that note - are there any how-to's on dropping the goods out from the bottom? If not I will take the time to make notes & take pics and write one up during my removal.
Here are my 'before' pics!!

I remember you as well. I think you posted some pics of some heavy duty mechanical work you had done and you still had a nice manicure.

And white looks especially awesome on the C5, and is one of the more rare colors too, so you won't see yourself coming and going like those of us with black ones.
You practically stole that thing for $10k! Nice find! I can't wait to see how this project turns out!

10,000 who did u kill LOL
