Default getting a Z06 lower....

besides a good set of coil overs what is another good option... i already removed the front bolts and add longer bolts to lower back. i still have a small fender gap i want to get rid of. i am riding on a set of 18's and 19's... options needed....

I think the sport shocks are @$890, not a bad alternative...

The problem is bottoming the stock shocks.

The pfadt sport shocks and coilovers have shorter shock bodies to give you more travel

I think you can cut the "bushings".. not sure i havent done it, but do a search for "bushings" and see what comes up.

You can't go lower than no bolts unless you change the springs or go to coilovers. I can't imagine going lower than no bolts though and the car being driveable.

I removed my front bolts and lowered her all the way on the stock rear bolts

I love the way it looks now ! Very agressive

Here is a comparison between stock and lowered

I am riding on Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - 275/35ZR18 front and 305/30ZR19 rears and L.G. Motorsports coilovers.

From my experience, you don't want to go any lower.

Bart, your car looks great and is nice and low. The coil-overs are the way to go.

Mine is lowered on stock bolts.....but I think I'm going to try the C6 bolts up front and the longer bolts for the rear. I can't justify $2k for coilovers when I have yet to take my car roadracing.

It is easier to justify the price after you have driven a car with coilovers. You will find out what suspension travel is and you don't miss the car bottoming out the stock shocks!

I also like the fact that there is no more concern about bumps upsetting the car during mid corner handling exercises

I lowered mine on stock bolts. 1.5 inches. Cost me 50$.
