Sorry about your Vette, man!!

Personally, I'll bet if you go with the Beamer, within 6 months you'll be kicking yourself for not getting another Vette.

I hope your insurance doesn't go up considerably. My State Farm agent told me, when talking about all the deer here, to hit the deer instead of putting my car or truck into a tree or ditch. If something jumps in front of your path of travel they don't raise your insurance. You wreck the car by avoiding something that jumped in front of you, get ready for higher rates.

Sorry to hear about your accident.

I would of seriously run the dog over. I will never risk damaging my property to avoid a strange animal, unless it's an animal large enough to cause significant damage to my car like a deer, bear, moose or elk.

I wouldn't of felt guilt about it either. The dog's owner should of not allowed it in the road, it's not my fault they were negligent.

When we get asked to "decide" on a color, car model, or the like.... this should be a personal matter and not left up to strangers to decide. To ask, "Which is a better car?" is asking for an opinion. To ask, "Which one should I buy?" is asking someone to decide for you.

YOU decide what you want!

I am sorry to hear of your misfortion. I was involved in a hit and run a little while back so I feel your pain.

HOWEVER, as you were already told, "This is a Corvette community so -
Get another Corvette."

As everyone else here, we feel your pain

Zo6 is the way I go

But maybe if you have to ask your not truly into Corvettes as you think.

Every time I use my wife 740I BMW I thank God I Have my Vette to go back to. Nice car but not a CORVETTE.

Save The Wave.

Oh! Good Luck With Your Decision.

If you get the BMW you will always have performance anxiety.

Z06 -- C5 is awesome but.... (c6?)

Sorry to hear of the misfortune!

If it is totaled I would go with the Z06 you will be more pleased (More available parts and the prices will be easier on the wallet)

Keep us posted on the progress

Thanks,Matt

If totaled this will be your chance to upgrade your car with all the things your original car lacked including possibly the exact same car that some poor smuck never drove and burned up his credit cards on expensive mods only to sell them all with the car at a loss. You could make out. Think of the possibilities.

Just wondering why my post was deleted? I would ask a mod but they didn't leave a name who did it, All I did was speak the truth about what some people do, My question is this.. Must we sugar coat every post so it don't get deleted? I didn't break any rules that I know of and if I did it would be nice to know where I broke it so I know better next time.
