Saw a coupe yesterday at a local vette show; had a stabilizer bar that ran from top of windshield back to top of back window channel. Chap said it solved rattles, etc while running with hardtop off. Anybody have a source for those? Any comments?

The C5 is rock solid whether a Coupe, Vert or FRC. There is no flex with the C5 platform. You must have been looking at a C4
also. They actually do make a bar for the C4 to help with body flex with the coupe top off. The top on the C4 coupe is a structual part of the car and is one reason you need a rachet to remove it. You don't simply unlatch it like a C5.
Its kind of weird -- my '84 C4 with go-kart like Z51 suspension and chassis stiffening, was rock-solid with the top off. However, my '93 C4 was like a wet noodle with the top off (also Z51, however, very much tuned down).
