Me personally, I did a 6000k 881 H.I.D. kit. But i'm pretty sure any 800 series bulb will do. Can someone confirm this?

I have the T-84 E Code headlamps with high wattage H-4s for my headlights, but still have the "stock" fog lamps, fitted with 50 watt 800 series bulbs [ 35 watt is standard OEM for the Vette, though the Camaro got the 50 watters stock OEM..go figure! ] ...THESE fogs need upgrading...

I just checked the 'bay' for the seller mentioned above, but found no sales listed at this time...However there are hundreds more that have real HIDs that will replace 800 series bulbs....and lots of different color temps offered too, though the super cold blue ones are of no interest to me..only 5K and maybe 6K for more natural color renditions.

I did notice that there are some big differences in actual light output of different bulbs from different brand makers, and corresponding different amps drawn on the DC supply...Somewhere between 3 and 4 amps per ballast seems to be typical...and prices vary from $80s to $160s a pair So..

Anybody got any with the higher output HIDs??? ...or done business with any other sellers on the 'bay' that worked out good????
