Default Airbag letter inserts

Well I just got done putting on my steering wheel decal from Cyberdine graphics and am so impressed that I'm thinking about doing the CORVETTE airbag letter inserts as well.

Has anyone done the airbag letters? Would love to see pics and how you like them...

Did the Cyberdine Airbag letters. Love them and they look great. When I put them in, I used a little alcohol to make sure there wasn't any type of residue in the airbag cover and used a very little amount of soap and water to be able to move them around into position so they were properly centered. If you don't, the letters will stick as soon as you put them in there and they can't be moved.

Thanks for the tip. I had ordered a set from Cyberdine earlier. They were very nice, however I completely butchered the install and ended up throwing them away. I love my steering wheel 3D logo so perhaps I will give the airbag stickers another go...

Question for those that bought / done these two mods..

I have a Black coupe with Lt. Oak interior. I wan to do the sterring 3d logo mod and possible add some lettering on the air bag on passenger side dash.. I was thinking Lt. Oak lettering. Do they have interior color lettering or must I go with something in black/silver or red/white/blue?

In addition to prepping the area (dentured alcohol) and using a little soapy water to help move the letters, any other recommendations? I had such a hard time handling the letters because they were so small. Especially the "E"s.

Check with Cyberdine and see if they can make them for you. I have a 2003 so I went with the silver 50th logo to match the front and rear emblems and went with red lettering for the airbag to match the front license plate filler and rear bumper inserts I did in red. I also have a black with Lt. oak interior.

Tweezers and Q-Tips but be careful with the pointy ends on the tweezers not to pinch the lettering together. Use the tweezers to get them into place and the Q-Tips to move them around. Just imagine you are playing "Operation" when you were a kid.

Thanks for the link on this. I saw a post on hand painting the steering wheel, but I'm not that good with that stuff. This has the steering wheel letterring in the color of my car too: Electron Blue . Cool.just ordered it.
