I searched and found posts here about where to buy replacements. But I can't figure out how to remove my broken one.
I take the one screw out from the bottom, but the clip doesn't come out. It seems to be attached to the vinyl piece that runs the entire width of the car to the sunvisor attachment points on each side.
It's just stuck to the vinyl from being attached to long. The vinyl "seeps" from being baked in the sun. BUT, rather than just yank it (it might tear) try sliding (very carefully) a sharp knife under it and try to break the "seal". Good luck.
I wonder if mine are broken too. Whenever I move the visors off the little holding clip, the POS falls out and hangs by the wire for the vanity mirror. I just figured it was typical POS GM engineering. Perhaps mine are broken. :S

Yours is the attachment side and it's because they are not locked in correctly.
Spot on. I had to repair mine recently and I needed a craft knife to separate it. Its a peg that slots into a retaining hole. Be careful not to split the vinyl around the peg.
