mgw shift knob smells wierd

mgw shift **** smells wierd
I had the mgw shifter and round **** for about 4 monthes now and i still notice that my hand has a wierd rubber/chemical smell on it after driving for awhile.
Does anyone esle have the problem, I know its wierd but is there something i can do stop it. lol i know this is really a strange post.

No odd smell with mine but I only put my hands where they're supposed to be.

lol wow that was fast, it smells like some kind of chemical that was used to treat it is still on it. any ideas on this?

i didnt notice a smell from any of the mgw ***** 5 of them including the new one
Id say use soap and water and clean it real good a few times, any other cleaner might mess up your grip
