No dash lights????????
The last two nights I have turned on my head lights and my interior dash lights go off. Everything is normal until the head lights are turned on then darkness! HUD is fine as well as the displays on the climate control and stereo. Any thoughts or suggestions?

.i also had a bad catalytic converter which was still covered by the gm warranty, so i got a new center exhaust section, but later found that they had taken my x-pipe and i am now back to the factory h-pipe setup.
bottom line - check your multi-function switch. do a search for "dash lights out" in the c5 general section and you'll find some good reading and, if you're so inclined, a tutorial on how to remove/repair your switch.

Check all your fuses too. I think it is Fuse 16 in the passenger footwell. It powers the dash lights (when the headlights are on) and the taillights.
