So is there a fix for the floppy seat backs in my 99 frc? i searched the forum and didn't find a clear answer. somebody point me in the right direction?
but if your talking about the back of the seat flopping around, I dont know. Mine does it in my 99 Coupe and its very irritating. I had posted something on this a while back and got no response. I noticed a little metal rod sticking out on both sides of the seat that are on the side of the back part, thats causing the back seat to rock. I dont know maybe someone will chime in
If you mean the assymetric seat back rather than the rocking seat, here's the fix:
Move the seat fully forward. Recline the seat as far as it will go and release the recliner handle to lock the seat back. Bring the seat fully upright and release the recliner handle to lock the seat back.
This resynchronizes the outboard and the inboard recliner mechanisms. Check that it’s worked by applying pressure to the headrest.
Please tell me the fix for the seat sliding forward. It takes some good braking and no feet on the floor but it will move forward a couple inches.Very irritating.
I know the rocking feeling and that is very slight compared to this.

"On many C5 Corvettes, the rubber isolators will wear out in the seat tracks causing the seat to rock backwards slightly under acceleration, and forward under braking"
