I've done all my interior in leds and was playing with some neon glowwire.Doesnt look too bad for a $10 kit! Just playing but may have to do something like this! Really contrasts the red.

COOL!! It's not my bag,,but I admire creativity and effort,and I do find it interesting! I realize there a lot of different tastes and ideas out there and I applaud your effort! It makes it YOUR own car and that is part of owning a corvette,,personalization!! That is why there are millions made from vet owners!!

Its not as bright as it looks in the pics. I did a timed exposure so Its a little over exposed.Really looks sharp in person.Not sure I'll do it on a permanent basis,maybe just for shows etc.I worry about the "too ricey" thing too!!!

Geeze,I post something I just played with and some people act as if I'm destroying my car
.I dont see anything wrong with experiementing,some things work and some dont.I think I'll line my windshield with the stuff and see what kind of responses I get!!

You'd think you walked into a bar/red-light district with glowing neon signs or something...
However, I applaud your creativity, and would agree that if you made it a little dimmer/subtle, that it would be "nicer."

I'm not lookin to start anything, I'm just curious. Why do you care what he does with his car? It's not my thing either but it's cool if that's what he likes. I don't understand why people care what other people do to their cars. I could see it if it was something rare that they only made a couple of them and he was going to do irreparable damage to it, but it's a C5. Don't get me wrong I love my car and it would take someone offering me a lot more than my car is worth to part with it but they made a ton of C5's, they will never be a classic or worth anything. Maybe in 30 or 40 year they will start to appreciate but not in my lifetime, they just made to many of them.
BTW doesn't that give off a very noticeable whine? Back when I was messing around with building custom computers I played with some of that stuff and it just made to much noise and that was powering it with a 9 volt battery. If you powered it with 12v I would think it would be worse. Also do it mess with your radio reception?
