sorry man. i think the arrows and bogey counter win hands down.
even with GPS this one still just goes beep.
i do wonder about a situation where you have two x band radars at a mall opening doors and a cop with an x band. i think the 9500 will tune them all out where the V1 will tell you there are three radars instead of the two you see every day.
can anyone confirm this?
thanks.

I have an 8500 and love it. Wish I could afford a 9500 I but like most said, the gps would be awesome if you drive the same route on a daily basis where you get a crap ton of city k band readings from every walgreens, kmart, krogers etc in the area. I turned the x and laser off on mine which is an awesome option. they never run x around here, and laser just lets you know you just got tagged, no chance to slow down with a laser ;P.
If they put arrows on this thing, they could sell it for 100 more bucks and I'd be really interested.

How much for the visor mount. If I can get one of those I won't need my suction cup mount BTW, love the 9500. I was in Gulfport, MS last week and speed traps were everywhere. My GF (who works for the court) said it was end of month and the City needed the money.

There are no attenna/recievers in police cars that are used for detection of radar detectors.....need to be alter of your surroundings and make sure the unit is turned off or placed away...Some states make it illegal to own, some to use..."Illegal to Own" is just having the unit is a violation in that state..."Illegal to Use" usage is prohibited to a certain state only and operation in other states is of no concern to that state. States have various definitions that need to be clarified.
