Good things come to those who wait!...Example: those who waited & got a 2002 Z06. I got a 2001 Z06 and I am about as happy as those that have a Kirban or Ripper shifter. Patience (sp) is a virtue. I think this time I will have patience and wait for the Hurst. The rest of you can gripe & complain about the delays if that makes you happy. I don't have any control over when then anniversary model will be released or the C6. I will just wait & not complain.
Flame away!

We have been thinking about getting the Hurst for our Nasty 1. Does anyone know where & how much it will cost? ;) Karen can hardly wait!
Some things are worth waiting for. :yesnod:
Thanks!

I noticed on the Hurst shifter box (as shown), "provides shorter and quicker shifts by reducing **** travel 30%". The ripper reduces travel by nearly 40%; that's more than 30% shorter when comparing these two aftermarket shifters.
I've had the Kirban and now use the Ripper and I'm quite satisfied. It will be interesting to check out the Hurst just for kicks.
I have tracking numbers on our first shipment. We will ship them back out based on our pre order list by date of order. We will have more coming soon I am told. :)
Hmmm... I wonder where RG is getting his shifters from?? :)
Regarding the throw reduction- Much of the text on the box is generic "Billet Plus" line features. The C5 Hurst shifter is actually exactly 35% reduction of stock, and I definitely would not go any shorter. I've learned with C4's that shortening to extremes means notchy and worthless. I'm sure B&M's 5% more is still reasonable in effort and distance, but only about 1/8" less neutral-to-gear, hardly noticable.
Well "SHIFT MY GEARS" I got the call from RG my (Linda Vaughn signature series) Hurst shifter will be in my hands next Wednesday at 5:30 PM CST. I heard the delay was due to having to get larger shipping cartons because each shifter comes with personally signed Linda Vaughn BRA enclosed!
