98 C5 Electrical Help
I have a 98 C5 that ocassionally loses all electrical power when parked. Battery is good and battery cables are good with no corrosion at battery posts. When the problem occurs, I try to start the car, get a brief engagement of the starter, then all electrical goes out (everything - all lights, security system, etc.). First time it happened I started to open the fuse box by the battery when the hood light came back on and all electrical was working again. A few weeks later, it happened again. Messing with the fuse cover and looking at the fuses did nothing to resolve the problem. I left the car for several days, then went out to look at it and the electrical is working fine again. I am guessing this is some type of grounding issue but know nothing about C5 electrical or whee to start looking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
