So I'm taking a road trip from NYC to Philly today, and was under the hood last night to do a quick check - I found some brake fluid was pooled in the creases around the reservoir, not a lot (maybe a half teaspoon on the towel) but clearly the reservoir had either overflowed just a touch or the seam is starting to separate? Never seen this before, so I'm not sure if I should be worried...any CF member thoughts?
When I got my 2000 vert, I noticed the seam around the resevoir was always "wet"...I replced the cap and voila!....now it is dry. I believe the rubber gasket in the cap can go over time. Hope this helps.

You might want to try a new cap...sometimes the seal on the cap goes bad and lets fluid weep out. I had that problem and a new cap solved the problem. They didn't just sell the seal(bastiches)
also...see the post above mine...I just saw that he has a similar answer and beat me by 3 minutes
