Default Titanium exhaust question

I'm just curious. The titanium exhaust system seems to be a popular upgrade and I see used ones for sale on here for $300 to $500.
My question is, If you were to go to the dealer and buy one new how much are they? Or do I dare ask.
And yes my 2002 vert got one installed by the previous owner and I love it.

I was told once that buying a new set at a dealer was $1200. Sounds a bit much but that was what I was told

I remember seeing somewhere like 2 grand. I could be way off, but I'd still bet $300-$500 here is way better than a dealer price for a new Ti.

Back in 2004 a friend had a mishap at the AutoX track with his brand new Comm edition 04 Z. Needed new wheels for one side both rear and front along with new tires. Also car hit the curb when spun out backwards and both rear mufflers were shot along with the tips.

I remember what the stealership quoted him for the above parts.

Exhaust $1172.00 per side
Wheels $850 rear and 650 $650 front
Tires were about $1500

That's what I thought. I had heard that it was around $2000 for the system from the dealer. Glad my car had it on it when I got it.
It's a great conversation piece. I tell people I have titanium exhaust on the car and they have never heard of such a thing.

Used might be the way to go, B&B Bullets are within 3 pounds of stock TI weight if your considering alternatives.

Why would you go to a dealer to buy them?

Oh I don't think anybody probably would but if they did I just wanted to know what the dealer would stick you for one.
