My old Z06 with the old-style drag wheels from CCW. The centers were brushed with polished lips and center caps. Looked really good in person, hooked like crazy with the M&H's.
do you guys have to run extended STUDS on your drag pack at the track?
I dont want to cause I think it would look horrible with my street wheels. 505a's with a closed lug nut
from my experience skinnies are worth .1 and 1mph in the 1/4...I run gto spares w/ black powder-coated wagon wheels and have had them mistaken for a drag-pak

I've got the exact same ones but I gotta say they are not the lighest in the world. Rotating weight is a bitch when it comes to ET's. Put some Mickey Thompson Et Street 28 x 11.5 x 16 and she'll hook even better than the M&H's.

If you want to pass tech at tracks that go by the rule book strict you should. I was at the LSX shoot Out and they were causing a big stink about guys with closed lug nuts. I agree they dont look as good as closed but who wants to get rejected at tech over that?
its not so much about the open or closed lugs... I dont mind running a open LUG for the track, I just dont want to run a extended STUD permanently..
You might could run a regular length lug and a extended stud at the track and run a extended lug on the road. Not sure how that would look or even if there are any extended lugs out there.
