Did american racing headers and the car threw codes constantly, every 50-100 miles. Got it tuned and it stopped. The gas mileage was better for a while but its getting bad again. I don't know what to do as the tuner is 3 hours away.
If I do pull th trigger I will have the vette tuned. I am in Houston and MTI was the place to go, it sounds like it went under. Anyone have any experience with Corvettes of Houston or know a good tuner in Houston? Thanks for all the input, I'm sure many others have benefited from the conversation.
No
Yes... rear O2 codes since the combustion front changes and the timing of gases hitting the rear O2's changes you will get low Catalytic converter codes....
Waking this thread up, because I have just gotten LG Longtubes installed. I know I am 3 years late to this one, but wanting to stay informed.
This morning my takeoff wasn't as exciting as I expected. I live on a busy street and have to get to 50 from the driveway standing still. The car revs better and easier on up the tack, but it's not pulling as hard as it should.
It lets me shift easier for some reason.
I'll probably have 10 different opinions of this thing by the end of the week

mail order from ECS is 150.00 and well worth it
Dyno tune will run 350.00 and up
If you have not done it yet would suggest the CAI and 160 Thermostat before the tune as well
call me if you want a LG and B&B package
I can set you up with this
