New windshhield
WHEN I WAS INTO STREET RODDING I HAD MY OWN GLASS MAN .. BUT HE WONT TOUCH A C5
IT ONLY TOOK 10 DAYS TO FIND A GLASS THAT FIT .
BUT THANKS TO THE PEOPLE AT "COMPLETE AUTO GLASS" IN OREGON CITY OREGON.
THEY SEARCHED THE NW AND REFUSED OVER A HALF DOZEN PIECES BEFORE INSTALLING A WINDSHIELD THAT FIT WITHOUT A MESSY INSTALL.
THEY DO ALL THE WORK FOR SURBURBAN CHEVROLET IN SANDY OREGON. THE N.W.S NUMBER 1 CORVETTE DEALER.
THANKS FOR A FIRST RATE JOB WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE AND A FLAWLESS INSTALL ....WITH ALL NEW TRIM .

It wasnt hard to find a HUD glass..
Just a bit hard to find one that fit.
Alot of the glass supplied to the shops are coming off the molds with a strange curve at the lower corners, they could be fitted if you dont mind them using alot of sealant to set the glass.
I just wanted a cleaner install.
GM is probably facing too many issues to address their glass suppliers ??
Thats BIG business and I know zero about that.
However I do know that they didnt screw up the car and the result was excellent.

I'm getting mine replaced Friday since a rock cracked mine pretty bad the other night. I was glad they asked me if I had HUD bc I didn't even think of it at the time. I can only hope that mine goes as smoothly as yours. btw, how long should I expect it to take them?
