I'm sure somebody or maybe a bunch of people claim to have the record. I'm looking for the street car record. Ac, factory seats, radio, etc.

As for FI the sky is the limit, Lingenfelter has there C5Z in the high 8's.

Yeah there are C4 Gen I/II motored IRS cars in the 8s and I belive a few in the 7's so I would have to figure there are C5's in that same area.
The guy who bought Lee Howie's car, I think posts as 106mm on CF, is running high 6's with 2100hp, but his car is back halved. Fastest C6Z is for sale over in the C6Z forums at 9.21@ 161mph. Since they are basically the same suspension and drivetrain I would be very surprised if there wasn't an 7 or 8 second C5 out there.
You would probably want to look at the NMCA I think it's called. They have a series of races for 'steet' cars that are insane. I think a camaro with an 1800hp pump gas blown big block was fastest last I looked. I think they do have a late model fuel injected power adder class.

The fastest street driven C5 I can remember was a twin-turbo built and driven by John Lingenfelter. Nothing was stripped out of the car such as power windows, A/C, etc. In a Motor Trend article the car ran 8.54 @ 150+ mph. Then was driven back to the shop....200 miles.

Mine is all stock interior, ac, etc.
Putting 28" MT's ET Streets and another 50 shot of nitrous. Things should get interesting. My 60' times were 1.658 and 1.738 on these two passes. If I can get it to launch......

BTW you have sick car man you should spray it and go mid low 9s.
