3M makes a woodgrain and stripe remover in aerosol that will wrinkle the vinyl and it can be removed with a soft plastic bondo spreader used as a squeegee. it removes the vinyl but not the adhesive. their adhesive remover will do that. both of these paint safe. there is always a chance of raising the paint when removing by the warming method
I don't know about that one... if some buyer came to me telling me to do something like that I would probably tell them to keep their money.
It's a Buyers Market, if you have that attitude as a seller you just might own that car for quite a bit longer. I don't think that asking a seller to remove decals from the car is an out of line request. If the paint is damaged or faded around the decals it's the sellers liability.
Just heat it up using hair drier and peel them off ... don't have to ask any body shop
Clean them up with 3M adhesive remover and they should be fine.
So if you have 2 people, it will speed up. One person heat up and one person peeling.

then clean and wax the snot out of it and you will be good to go

I would get paid for the car first if it were mine, none of this take them off and if I like it I will buy it, obviously the current owner likes them or he/she wouldnt have bought it in the first place
