Most decals are best removed by applying heat (like from a hair dryer) to soften the adhesive. Not sure in this case, but you could try to see if heat loosens them up for you
Just heat it up using hair drier and peel them off ... don't have to ask any body shop
Clean them up with 3M adhesive remover and they should be fine.
So if you have 2 people, it will speed up. One person heat up and one person peeling.

yes no problem use a heat gun or take it to a pinstriping shop if you are scared, any place that does vehicle graphics can take it off and then wipe it down with some glue residue remover. - The ONLY issue that may arise is depending upon how long they have been on there may be some fading of the rest of the paint leaving a ghost shadow.
I remove decals every year, we raffle off a car and it is loaded with decals and advertisements. This year it was warm enough to just let the sun beat down on the car and remove them. Other years I have had to use a hair dryer or heat gun. Prep solvent and a coat of Zaino and it's good to go.

As other's have stated heat might do the job. If not, I had a Kustom Accessories and Audio, Bling, Tint install Shop remove my vinyl stripes when they installed my new CorvetteStripes.com (CF vendor Mike Ung) CE stripe kit last year. They had a machine made specifically for just what you are asking. It removed the old stripes with no damage to the car's finish at all. I believe it works like a big pencil erasure!!
