Key fob question?

I need a key fob I can get it from the dealer or cheaper from on here or Mid America. The dealer said it has to be programed and they would do it for free if I got it from them. Can I do the programing myself???

I bought mine from the dealer but at a very reduced price and programed it myself.

Programming steps should be in your owners manual and takes 2 minutes including reading the steps.

Check with Gene at gmpartshouse first. I just got a new fob from him cheaper than my dealer. Programming is easy. No need for a trip to the dealer. It's all in the manual...

Hi Kevin, I too recommend Gene, I bought one from another dealer and it turned out to be used and did not work. Gene's was $80.45 with shipping to MAcon and I programed it myself. Stan
