Drivers side EC mirror problem
I just purchased an 02 C5 coupe with only 15,000mi. on the clock and I absolutley love it.. But I have a problem with the driver side mirror. Since I bought the car 10/17/08 the mirror is really dark and even darker on the outside edges. I shut the electrochromic off on the rearview and nothing happens.. Does anyone have any idea of what the deal is with it? Thanks!

Congrats on the purchase! Stupid question here, but are you activating/deactivating your EC at night with headlights behind you? As far as I know, you will notice the change in the brightness of the headlights in the mirror if you do it this way, not a change in the look of the mirror itself.
Other than that, have you checked online for replacement glass for the mirror?
